Racing Club Warwick 2 Bolehall Swifts 1: League table makes fine reading for Hayden after Racers’ treble
Goals from Ciaran Houston and Elliot Powell put Racers into a 2-0 lead before Dave Yonwin halved the deficit in the 83rd minute.
However, Racing Club manager Michael Hayden said the margin of victory could have been more had his side converted their chances.

“6-3 to us would have been fair.
“They hit the post but we also had chances and I’m delighted how well we fought and grafted to get the result.”
The nine points Racers have earned in 2014 have lifted them to the relative security of 13th.
And, after avoiding looking at the league standings over the festive period, Hayden says it now make much better reading.

“Now I’m looking at it twice a day.
“I always said you should judge us on our results from here.
“Seven of the 16 are 19 and under and their inexperience has shown.
“The only way to gain experience is to play and we’ve stuck with them and it’s starting to pay off.”
Racing Club face another tough test tomorrow when they travel to second-placed Nuneaton Griff.
