Perry stuns seeds
Perry opened up by defeating Canadian third seed Alexandra Norman 11-4, 8-11, 11-6, 17-15, before another hard-fought victory over Welsh number two Tesni Evans (10-12, 11-9, 11-9, 14-12) in 61 minutes.
The Kenilworth player then claimed the biggest individual scalp of her career by overcoming seven-time US national champion Latasha Khan.

Hide AdPerry claimed the first two games but world number 25 Khan came back to level and looked to have seized control of the match.
However, a more composed display in the final game saw Perry come out on top 14-12, 11-9, 9-11, 5-11, 11-4.
Perry then got off to a flying start against Indian number one and top seed Dipika Pallikal in the final, racing into a 9-5 lead
However, Pallikal responded brilliantly to win in straight games, 11-9, 11-3, 11-7.

Hide AdMeanwhile, clubmate Chris Fuller had a fine 12-10, 11-5, 11-1 victory over Florent Pontiere of France in the Ixi Open at Pardubice, Czech Republic.
However, despite leading 10-5 in the deciding game, Fuller bowed out at the hands of top seed Dylan Bennett (Netherlands) in the second round.
Fuller eventually went down 11-8, 4-11, 8-11, 12-10, 11-13 in 80 minutes, having saved ten match points.
