“They’ve banned me from going in there before it’s ready as they decorate it.
“I also had a lovely time with 28 of my family on Sunday – I hadn’t seen some of them for years.”
Asked about getting to the magical milestone of 100, she joked: “It doesn’t feel any different to being 99 or 98.
“People ask me what the secret is.
“And I tell them that if I knew that I’d sell it!

London-born Pat said she had lost two “nice and kind” husbands over the years, Tom and Harry, and has four children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
“I love being near my family and I like living here in Lutterworth.
“I’ve made a lot of really good friends here and I’m still very active,” said Pat, who still loves dancing, walking, gardening and the Great Outdoors.
