Fire at Lillington farm
FIREFIGHTERS in Leamington called for help in putting out a fire at a farm in Lillington yesterday (Thursday).
A crew from Leamington asked for two more engines, a water bowser and a specialist small fire unit to put out the blaze at Red House Farm at 5.50pm. Firefighters used a hose and beaters to put out the fire, which had spread to around eight acres of cut straw.
Crews were at the scene for around two and a half hours. There were no casualties reported.
