Warwick gets ready to Rock at food and film festival

Warwick will be transformed into a week-long open air entertainment zone as the town’s first food and festival arrives next month.

Warwick Rocks Food and Film Festival, funded by Warwickshire County Council’s Footfall scheme, will include large-scale screenings of Cool Runnings, Gladiator, Les Miserables, Mama Mia and The Princess Drive - as well as a celebration of 100 years of Bollywood - at venues around the town, including Warwick Castle, Warwick Racecourse and the Lord Leycester Hospital.

The event, which takes place from August 17 to 25 and is expecting to draw 50,000 people to the town, will also include street food prepared by businesses in the town, live culinary demonstrations, markets and family entertainment.
